I went to Staples today and purchased the limit 5 notebooks for 15 cents and with my others, that should last me for the year. I do a ton of journaling and these are perfect. I picked up some erasers while I was there and an extra box of crayons and colored pencils to pair with coloring books for the kiddos. Always good to have some new ones on hand. Love Staples and they are nearby so I don’t waste much gas. Thanks for highlighting the sales.
Here’s a great and affordable idea for moms with pre-school or kindergarten-2nd graders. I did this when my kids were that age. Find out how many children are in the class. Buy up the boxes of crayons while they are .50/box. Pair with a coloring book to give as classroom party favors or gifts at the holidays OR for birthday party favors. You can often find economy packs of coloring books. OR you can purchase one coloring book and then make copies of favorite pages to pair with the crayons. I was a homeroom mom, and this always seemed to be a hit. And at the holidays or valentine’s day, the kids are happy to get a fresh box of crayons.
