Can’t wait to snatch this one!

  2. Amy

My store was already picked clean.

  3. Ashley

You can use the $3 off $15 coupon that you get for filling out the survey at the bottom of your receipt with this deal.

    • AP

Thanks! I was going to stop by after work, but I’ll stop by the house first. We have a zillion of those receipts. I have a DG literally 1 min from my house, so we stop in quite often. Thanks again!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing Ashley!

  4. AP

My kids like to spend their money there, and I like them to do their own transactions so hey can learn to interact in a store (only if no one is behind me- lol) so sometimes we have 3 receipts in one visit.

  5. Rebecca C.

I just tried to do this deal. It may have just been my account but when I put in my phone number it said no coupons found. The lady behind me in line said sometimes it takes up to 24 hrs. for the coupons to load to your account. I loaded the coupons just before I went to Dollar General. It’s so big deal I can go again tomorrow. I only live 5 mins. from DG. Just wanted to let you guys know in case it happens to you.

Thanks so much Collin for posting this awesome deal! :):):)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re so welcome! Sorry to hear the coupons did not show up for you today! Hoping it works more smoothly for you tomorrow!

  6. Rebecca C.

    *no big deal

    • Barb

I added mine right before I went and they showed up fine. No 75 ounce at my store tho so I went for the 100 ounce still a great deal and my febreeze were $5 each. So 14.70 for me cuz I got $1 coupon for signing up, saved $21.

      • Angela (Super Saver Sidekick)

Yay Barb! Glad you were able to score this deal!

  7. SJ

Does Dollar general take paper coupons too? Not 2 on the same item, I mean if you have them for something else you are buying.

    • Lori Matson

Yes they take paper coupons also

  8. Judy Trac

Couldn’t find all products at my stores.

    • Amy

They were moving things around at mine. The had a display of gain products in the very back of the store at an end cap.

  9. Jennifer

Hope my DG has all these products so I can donate these to local pantry.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Such a sweet idea Jennifer!

  10. Kristi Branch

Those items are 30.50 before the other discounts when they take the discounts off of each item it makes it 20.50 which makes you not eligible for the 5 off 30 on gain products.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmm, We have tested this deal in store and all coupons have applied as listed above. Hoping this helps!

    • Amy

I just did the deal exactly how it is showed and it worked flawlessly.

    • Heather

That is exactly why the store manager said my $5/$30 coupon did not come off.

      • Karen

That was what they told me too. I did 2 transactions (1 for me & 1 for my husband) & both didn’t take off the $5. I guess it depends on the store???

    • Gigi

Same here, and of course I had a huge line behind me. I was so embarrassed that I had to have the cashier void everything, and to top it off he was so rude about it. I believe the math makes it $1 short? Its $28.95.

  11. Sinda

Just got mine! My DG didn’t carry the same sizes as shown above so mine was $15.40 but I still saved $20, woohoo!

  12. dean

$3 flings coupon didn’t trigger. Isn’t that for the larger 31 count size?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Nope, that coupon only excludes the 5 count or trial size.

  13. Brittany

I went after work and did this deal also. My store was out of 70oz so I got 100oz. Spent $15 saved $20

  14. Amy

Thank you for this post. Please keep posting these awesome dollar general deals. These are so easy to do. It is so nice that my little city has 4 dollar generals. All within 5 min of each other. If I would drive 15 min I could add 3 more stores. I am bound to find one store that has the products in stock. I wish there were some food deals. Thanks again.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re very welcome Amy! Happy you could snag the savings!

  15. Amber

Thanks. Clipped and ready to go tomorrow.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Perfect! YW!

  16. 4ella

I got last week gain detergent, softener, scent booster, and crest toothpaste all for $2.29

  17. Verna Evans

    sent me some digital coupon

  18. Lori

Thanks! This worked perfectly for me today. I did get liquid fabric softener instead of dryer sheets, but it works out exactly the same.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Lori!

  19. Matt

Digital coupons go directly to your account when you add them, there’s no waiting time. I shop DG 4 to 5 times a week, using the digital coupons whenever possible. You have to watch like a hawk to make sure your digital coupons actually get applied to your purchases. I have found that on many occasions I purchase a product I have a digital coupon for and it doesn’t take the discount off. Problem is you can’t tell until the purchase is complete. They have about the worst retail customer receipt I have ever seen. They make it extremely confusing for customers to tell exactly where discounts were taken off, or if they were ever actually applied at all.

  20. Wendy

I tried this this morning. It was my first time trying the couponing thing. It sort of worked but my total ended up being 16.65. I still saved $18 so I’m happy but would have been more excited if it had been $10.

  21. Amy

Thank you for the info. I got mine today. Although i didn’t notice i grabbed 2 different sizes of the gain scented Febreeze. The coupons still worked i just ended up paying $1.45 more. Oh well it will get used 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  22. Beegee

Just did it, it worked and it was so easy! Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Super glad to hear that! You’re very welcome!

  23. jen

Worked flawlessly! Me and my mama needed that little couponing rush today. Thx Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay! YW!

  24. Brandi

Just a head’s up that I followed thus deal to the letter and got a $5.95 package of toilet paper and my total came out to $12.90!!! They $5 off $30 gain coupon AND the $5 off a $25 purchase BOTH came off for me at 9:35 am at my Wisconsin store!!

    • Barb

Do you think it would have worked without adding the TP?

      • Autumn

I read that they will both work if your total is $35, but maybe not the digital $5/$25… Maybe just the paper one from another receipt.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great score Brandi!

  25. Tassie

Is this deal good to purchase online as well?

  26. Leigh Ann

Thank you so much for this post! I followed the deal you outlined AND added one 75 ounce Tide liquid detergent. I added the $3.00 off one Tide digital coupon and the $5.00 off $25.00 order coupon. All came off the total with no problem. My OOP was $10.95 plus $0.66 tax!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      That’s awesome! You’re SO welcome!

  27. Vonda

I’m so glad I seen this. With the store sales they were having on summer items plus this Gain

All of the coupons have reset. My store was out of half of the things I needed on Friday, but they restocked yesterday. I just left there now, $45 worth of stuff for $20.

  30. AP

That includes using a $3 dollars off $15 for doing the survey.

  31. Patricia Goff

Worked great. Darn didn’t know about the $5 off $15 coupon. My brother did the deal too so we are stocked.
