My boyfriend is gluten fee so we cook at home a lot- use rice or rice noodles as the base, substitute tamari for soy sauce, and you can get a “fried” crust with cornstarch and gf flour or breadcrumbs. Just follow any recipe and make it gf yourself. It never tastes quite as good as restaurant chinese (probably because its significantly healthier), but it is satisfying nonetheless.
