We have this and I use it for the kiddos lunches. You need to run hot water through it first but it keeps my kids food warm until lunch!

Oh awesome! Glad to hear how well it has worked for their lunches! Thanks for your feedback!

Hands down The Best thermos out there! I pack lunch @ 6AM. Keeps my son’s lunch (soups.. pasta.. etc.) piping hot till hes ready to eat @ noon! I Never prep it with hot water.. works great!

Sweet! Thanks for sharing your experience!

Really? That is good to hear. These must work better than the Thermos Funtainers that we use. We heat them with hot water prior too but the food doesn’t stay nearly as hot as in our Stanley thermos.

These are GREAT! We have 2 of them and they keep lunches hot. I do fill the thermoses with hot water from my keurig first and let them warm up for a minute or two before adding the food. Never had food go cold.

    • Lue

Oh, and just as an experiment, I filled the thermos with ice water and let it sit for about 5 mins, dumped out the ice water and put ice cream in it. It stayed cold and unmelted for 2 hours. It will probably stay colder longer, but my son ate the ice cream. 😉

    Price went back up…

Looks like walgreens.com has them for the same price as Amazon.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing Nicole! Looks like it is out of stock from Walgreens now as I search through. Bummer!
