This seems almost too good to be true… and it makes me nervous that you have to sign in to paypal under the shoprunner url and are not redirected to paypal to sign in?

All you have to do is put in your PayPal email, not your PayPal password. You are signing up for a Shop Runner account. I was able to do it and didn’t use my PayPal password.
Thanks! I had figured this out before your comment posted haha. I had just gone ahead and put info in and submit and it popped up that I already had a SR account and needed to put the right password in. The way the wording on the linked page is makes it seem like it is for your paypal account and not that you are creating/renewing your SR account.
Okay Nevermind… that is not to sign in to paypal like it makes it seem. That is signing in/up for the shoprunner account.

I just did it and you will not be putting in anything in from your paypal except your email. You don’t put the password from paypal it will be a password for the shoprunner account. I already had an account and I put my SR password in and it popped up a screen that says “Congratulations! you now have a complimentary shopRunner membership.”
Yay, I have extended the shop runner subscription for one more year! So happy! It was so helpful in the past year, I used it at bonton.com and lancome.com, fragrancenet mostly. It really works. For example, my state doesn’t have bonton store (its a big store like macys), and they don’t charge taxes at all (bcoz there is none in my state), so they give 20% off cosmetics once in about two month and you save on taxes! Thats like 26% savings. This deal works for previous shop runner members too.

I have mine set to “expire” and not to “auto-renew” you can change that in your account settings on ShopRunner. This will prevent you from being charged. I had a free membership several years ago and changed it then and was never charged when it “expired”.

I think so, too. I have amex and signed up years ago and didn’t have to renew ever since.

I signed up for this years ago when it first came out. I still get it for free? I use if often too. I am not paying for it, and I never gave them any charge info. Not sure why, but it has been very nice. I am scared to sign up to extend.
Shop runner is free if you have American Express and use your American Express to purchase. You have to go to your American Express account look up account benefits find the shop runner one and follow the special link. 🙂
