I have the older version of this car (looks like they updated it) and want to say that this thing goes! My kids are 4 and 5 and weigh about 90 pounds together when both in the car and it does not have a problem going.
One word of caution is that the battery costs $55-75 dollars (amazon is usually the cheapest place to buy it) and we typically have to get a new one every year. It is one mile to go around my block, and one battery charge can get them that far.
