I love my LL Bean bookbags. I used one through junior high for 3 years (still in good shape, but I just wanted a different style), and then the same one through high school and college – 7 years. It is in fantastic shape as well.
LL Bean has a lifetime warranty! I recently exchanged my old high school backpack (very old) for a new one for my daughter. They even changed the monogram!
I bought one of these bags for my son in 5th grade. He has used it for 3 years and still in good condition. The bags I have bought from the stores have ripped within a few months of use.
I think this promo ONLY works on sale items, not your whole order. That is a good price for the deluxe bag if you pick from the sale colors.

The LL Bean deluxe backpack is the only backpack my boys used. From preschool through junior high. Never had an issue. Used the same one – all those years

Ordered one of these for my oldest boy and they are build great EXCEPT there is no water bottle holder.
It must depend on the backpack… I ordered two for my kiddos this season because of the quality and there is a water bottle pocket…
