Thanks! I have scrambled the last few years to throw together a grainy Christmas card I wasn’t happy with two weeks before Christmas. This year we finally had some professional family pictures done (our oldest is 9 so it was about time) so I’m excited to potentially be prepared this year & now also have some cute labels for them.
Although I will say as a frugal gal it pains me to send Christmas cards every year because of the cost. I do try to get a groupon deal for the cards when I’m planning ahead but let’s say you get a 50 cards for $25 deal, then you have another $25 in postage & that’s already $50 which is a lot to spend on something most people throw away. Every year the penny pincher in me considers not doing them.
I always try to use these deals to lower the cost of cards I send. I’ve kept all the cards sent to me over the years, and have put each family’s cards together on an O-ring.
I also keep all the photo cards! People put so much time into making them so you can’t throw them out… several years ago I started putting them into a photo album from walmart and just glued a nice christmas tree from a christmas card on the front. Makes for a festive coffee table book!
