This shirt describes how I often feel when I’m craving downtime to recharge my battery.
I grew up always thinking I was an Extrovert, but over the last few years I’ve realized that I’m much more of an Introvert – which many are often surprised to hear. For a long time, I assumed because I’m not shy that I couldn’t possibly be an Introvert. Well, I was wrong. This particular article really hit home for me.
“Your whole life you’ve been confusing people – including yourself. Social interactions can either recharge or drain your social batteries. Parties can make you feel alive, switched on, and your most confident – or completely bored, annoyed and withdrawn. You’re resilient and sensitive at the same time. Very social but rarely out…”
I also could relate to many parts of this article:
You Find People to Be Both Intriguing and Exhausting
People watching? Yes. Meeting new people and hearing their life stories? Fascinating. Spending every weeknight hanging out with a different group of friends? Not a chance—as much as you enjoy people, you can only endure so much socializing before you need downtime. After a busy weekend or a long day at work, you feel the need to disappear and recharge by being alone or with just one other person (a best friend, a trusted roommate or your significant other).
Thanks for posting! I had been waiting for them to get more in my size 🤗
You’re welcome! 😉
I bought this last winter in gray. I love it! It is so cozy and fits true to size.
Glad to hear how comfortable it is Susie! Thanks for the feedback on how it has fit!
While I agree that this is cozy, if you are 5′ 9″ or above it may be too short. I am 5′ 9″ tall and it is too short for my preference…I have to be careful about which pants that I wear it with so it covers my belly.
This article is so me in a nutshell!
Great article! I need that shirt.
I love mine from last year! I’m debating getting this one since it’s black! So comfy and if I do go out-I get “love your shirt” comments!
I love my Shirt I bought it last year.. I’m 5 9 also what I’ve found that works is I always get Camis in different colors Walmart has them for under 2.00 dollars. Wear a Cami under in same color that way you always are covered. Works Great for me
I’m wanting to order this but not sure what size to get. I’m 5’5″. Do we need to size up if we want it a little longer?
