My daughter has the purple/pink ones shown on the right. She likes them. I have not been impressed with how quickly they’ve become worn looking – she only wears them to school and not to play in at home. Also the outer material is a mesh so not solid. Not the greatest for the colder weather that is coming. Wonder if they are all that way?
Stride rite will replace them for you. They stand behind their products.
I have only ever bought Stride Rite for my kids. Lately I have been very disappointed in both the quality and the fact that they have closed all their retail stores. The last pair of shoes I bought for my son, all the stitching pulled apart in a matter of 2 months. The pair before that had the Velcro wear out within a month. 🙁
Sad to hear the quality was diminished. I ran a stride rite office while in college and we had 154 store, I know he currently only has 3. My kids are are now all teens but they only worn stride rites and having worked for stride rite for many years they used to have an amazing return policy.
Oh bummer! Sorry to hear they have not held up well. 🙁 Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
We have these shoes fro my son. He loves them. However, they wear out quickly. The plastic webbing design has already started to come off after a few months. The lights are starting to die as well. But he absolutely loves them.
I agree. My kiddos begged for these for school and I have not been impressed. They show so much wear and we aren’t a 1/4 of the way into the school year. I’m glad that I didn’t pay more than $25 for these when I ordered them.
I agree with the previous folks. Stride rite shoes do not hold well. I’m on my second replacement pair
