After about 6 months they started coming apart for me. The little fibers would stick to our washcloths as they were drying. Then when you dry your face the fibers would stick to your face.

Please don’t be fooled by the marketing and reviews on these Smart Sheep wool dryer balls as I was. The Smart Sheep balls unravelled in the dryer, in a few weeks, left static in my laundry, which came out wrinkled, and had a funky musty smell like rank lanolin. I washed the balls in 4 hot water washes and the smell subsided a bit but was still there. I’ve gone back to using Mrs Meyers drying sheets……..

I purchased a pack of 6 several months ago and they work amazingly! We donāt use dryer sheets. So these are a blessing!
My kids have stinky shoes. I wash and dry there shoes on laundry bags and add these wool balls during the drying cycle. Works great!
We also are a big family and use duvet covers and inserts, instead of top sheets. These sheer balls are great in the dryer with large duvet inserts!
Lastly, love these dryer balls for everyday towels, clothes, and occasional winter gear clean up!
