Mine was 50% off was able to grab my daughter her costume for next year. I didn’t even think to look at the books may have to make a trip back to look at them.
Watch the candy though. My Walmart in Ohio mixed regular bags in with all the Halloween’Fall stuff. A few elderly people were taking their items to the register and were then told that candy wasn’t on clearance.
I went yesterday great deals on snack size bags (Halloween themed) chex mix muddy buddys, cheez its, ect.

Got Star Wars trooper costume with mask for my son yesterday for $4 and tax. Candies are not on sale yet in my area (South Cal.)
I saw someone buying mini bottles of water that had a Halloween theme on the bottle. I didn’t see them in the Halloween candy clearance and had already checked out so I didn’t want to go back and look for them.
I got the last pack of small waters yesterday. They were about $1.60. My daughter takes them in her lunch everyday. I also got some Soft soap for 50 cents and frosting for 75 cents. Most of the candy was gone when I was there in the afternoon. Not much left at my store. Must have sold most of it in the morning.
I went, bright and early, yesterday morning. I wanted to get some of the popcorn balls. I, also, got bags of Tootsie Roll Pops and Whoppers.
All candy had already been wiped out at the one I went too …

Holding out for 75%…less selection but there are usually still a ton of costumes left perfectly acceptable for the dress up closet.
I tried to do that last year, but then they just sent everything back! I was so disappointed!
I bought the cookie houses after Halloween last year and switched out the icing for gingerbread houses.

All candy wiped out out my store except for candy corn. Tons of candy corn still left! lol
Mine had very little candy out for clearance. But they sure didn’t skip a beat in starting to block out the seasons isle and were stocking Christmas candy!
Just got back my store was 50%, picked up so many decorations and Halloween home accessories such as kitchen towel and tablecloth. I also got some of those Halloween leggings that were posted couple of days ago for $1 something clearance. They are so cute.
I bought $7 Disney princess dresses for my daughters for dress up play as Christmas gifts! 😊

My Albertsons store had 75% off for candy! And still had a lot left yesterday night when I went to the store. I got a big bad of mnm’s and snickers for $2.30
I went yesterday before work and there was a ton of everything left. This is when I stock up on kisses for my peanut butter cookies for Christmas. And also candy without Halloween wrappers I save for Stockings! This has worked incredibly well for me for many years now! I also snagged some trays of those soft cookies with icing and the packages of fruit snacks for 50% off.
When are they and target supposed to go to 70/75% off??
My target is still at 50/30. I went this morning positive I’d be buying a ton. Walked out empty handed 🙂

The manager I checked out with today said they have cut back on their ordering because now they are getting bonuses if they don’t over order and have to discount so much merchandise. The Walmart I went to yesterday had absolutely nothing. The Walmart I went to today I got all I wanted and then some! Just try another one. Good Luck!
My Walmart in Georgia had all the costumes marked down to $1!!!! They were very picked over by the time I found them, so I went to customer service and asked to see the costumes that were “go backs” or “returns”. I was able to really score that way!!!
I went to a Walmart yesterday that had absolutely NOTHING. Then I went to another today and hit the jackpot! Don’t give up!

Our Walmart had TONS of glow stuff for 50% in the Halloween section… bracelets, necklaces, glasses, tiaras, glow sticks, wands, packs of 60 different glow things, ALL KINDS of stuff that were not related to Halloween!!! I stocked up for Christmas stocking stuffers! 🙂
So I had seen a comment earlier today about the Toys r Us costumes being in the “dress up” section at full price. It appears to be that way here in Dublin, Ohio as well, but weird thing is, this comment someone posted earlier appears to have been erased and I have no idea why???

Target marked down their Halloween costumes/non food items to 70% this morning. Signage still said 50% but was ringing up 70% for those looking for costumes still. I snagged like 15 boy-ish costumes to make a dress up for my 4 boys for Christmas (power rangers, star wars, ninjas, TMNT, spiderman, batman, etc) and grabbed adult wigs/costumes and a bunch of baking stuff and napkins. There was TONS of napkins at my store. They had gold stars on them so I grabbed a bunch to use for our 4th of July parties. I got a bunch of games and crafts for the kids for next year. Totally scored! Check it out as our walmart was almost out of stuff the day after Halloween at 50%. I went in and got a bunch of candy there then.
Halloween costumes and other stuff is 75% off at our store in Richfield, utah today. Candy still 50%.
I missed ours! I didn’t get off until 3 on the 1st and by that time everything was gone
