How often does Cricut come out with a new machine? Love this deal but thinking they might just put out a new machine soon..
They just came out with the Maker in the last 2 months.
Final cost noted on your site, does not include sales tax.
My final cost, with tax ($18.56), shipped ($0), was $315.15.
I think they do that because the sales tax is different in every state. Some have much higher sales tax than others & adding it on would only be confusing for some folks
@Susi, makes sense; just thought the blog should note the “Final Cost” *doesn’t actually include sales tax. 😉
Thanks for the feedback! It seems tax can vary.
Does anyone have one of these that could give me a review? I just got engaged, and I thought that maybe this would be a great thing to buy to make save the dates, invitations, favors, decorations, etc., but I’m not sure how easy it is to use, or if that would be cost effective? We are trying to keep costs as low as possible, so any input would help a lot! Thank you!
There are a ton of user reviews on YouTube. Congrats on your engagement.
Thank you, Jeanette!
Got one about 8 months ago and haven’t used it yet. I don’t know why, but I am so intimidated by this machine. Any suggestions on how and/or where to start?
Nooo!! It’s really easy to use!! I just got mine less then 2 weeks ago and have made a good amount of stuff. Small things anyways to get used to it.
It comes with a 2 week free trial of cricut access which I think once mine is up, I will subscribe. That I found to be really helpful because it has so many ready to make projects and it walks you through it. And when you first connect everything, it walks you through making a card out of cardstock. What I have been doing, and still do, is cut on cardstock before I cut on vinyl so I can make sure size and everything is good. There are a TON of cricut groups on facebook, I joined so many and always come across such helpful info/tips. And there’s also YouTube.
Don’t be intimidated! It’s gun once you get going!!
Enjoy!! And good luck!!
Thanks for the encouragement. I think I just need to sit down with it one weekend and get going.
Do you think think this is the absolute best deal on this machine + bundle? Or will it be better to wait for Black Friday??
