Please note that these are only water resistant and not waterproof. The Squall line seems to be the one for snow activities.
Thank you!
Yes, Grace! Totally true. The other ones are the only way to go. The same goes for LE boots, sadly, they are only water resistant. After too many soggy feet, I had to switch to a waterproof brand.
Skip the Stormer line. Pay a bit more for the Squall!!! Stormer coat/bibs last my kids 1 season maybe and isn’t as warm. Squall can go 2-3 y before being outgrown and is warmer.
Thanks for your honest review! We have those here: https://hip2save.com/2017/11/14/lands-end-squall-snow-bibs-only-25-17-regularly-70/
I agree totally with above posters, but these are still way better than Target or Kohls snow pants by a long shot. This year I finally went ahead and got Squalls for my kiddos. No more soggy snow pants to dry out. Loving all the Lands End sales right now!
Thanks everyone for the recommendation to go to to the Squall instead. Nobody wants soggy pants after recess. I needed to find plus size snowpants, which is about impossible. I had found these earlier but couldn’t stomach the $90 price tag. I was going to buy the cheap walmart brand and hope I could find someone to hem them for me. I ordered two pairs because I was unsure on size, which also got me free shipping. I will take the pair that doesn’t fit back to Sears so I don’t have to pay return shipping. Hip2save saved me a headache finding the plus size snow pants, thank you!
Yesterday, I purchased my son a pair of bibs from Target, but was highly concerned with the material possibly being too thin and not waterproof. I came home and saw this post, so I ordered from Lands End. Thank you to the person who recommended Squall instead. I’ll be returning the bibs to Target and look forward to getting these in the mail.
