Will this give you the Amazon prime shows and movies on a TV that isn’t a smart TV?
Yes it will
yes, if you currently have amazon prime videos you will be able to watch it on your tv now. Thats why I bought it and I love it.
Great, thank you!!
Target has it on sale for $24.99 too 😊
Thanks!
I bought mine at Target.com to get 1% cash back from Shopathome.com plus the 5% off with the Redcard. The 6% savings almost paid the sale tax in Mass. 🙂
Electronics aren’t covered for Target cashback from shopathome.com, ebates.com, or topcashback.com.
Sweet! Thanks for the heads up Melanie!
Does this need anything extra to go with it such as cables or adapters? I keep seeing that it might need a power supply? Thanks for any info.
It comes with everything you need but unlike chromecast, it does need to be plugged into an outlet.
Thank you. 🙂
Does it come with plug in
I ply mine directly into my Tv and use the adapters. I don’t use the outlet plug. You have the option to do either/or.
What does this give you if you don’t have amazon prime? The same stuff you can watch on your computer/through the internet? Or more?
I am not a big movie fan. I use mine to watch live TV. I use a cable connection plus playstation vue service (don’t need a Playstation) as my “carrier.” In my market both the Playstation ($40) plus high speed cable through RCI ($40) $80. You could go cheaper (like RCI has a live TV option) but this works great for me, as opposed to a $200 cable bill.
Google and watch YouTube videos to learn what you can do with it. It’s magic!
Can you use it to watch Netflix
Yes I watch Netflix on mine as well as movies through an app and amazon
Yes you can watch Netflix
Does it come with plugin
What’s the difference between the amazon fire stick and the roku?
Yes can someone explain?
Fire Stick allows you to access your amazon videos, not sure if roku would. Fire Stick, Roku and Chromecast are all pretty much the same thing, with slight differences.
Amazing price.
If you shop through Ibotta, you’ll get 5% back .
I have a $5 Amazon code to trade. Email me: imsofrugal at hotmail dot com
YouTube stopped working on my smart tv from June and my kids they love to watch YouTube.I am not sure whether it has YouTube app on firestick and does it need to operate through our smart phone or other device?
really appreciate if someone can say about YouTube on firestick.
I want to use it on my smart tv just for YouTube.I already have all other apps on smart tv like netflix, amazon,Hulu etc
I bought one for $40 at GameStop the other day and they had to order it and have it delivered to our house. Woke up early this morning thinking “I bet those will be on sale today.” Of course… Knew I shouldn’tve ordered it at $40… I ordered one of these, planning on returning the other to GameStop once it arrives.
