Has anyone given these to younger kids about 3? Not sure if my son is ready for something like this or not
We have a few sets and my daughter just turned 3 she’s been playing with them for at least a year. I don’t see why they wouldn’t be safe for younger kids too.
My just-turned-three year old has been playing with these for a while, my 5 year old likes them too. They just don’t build the most complex things, but they’ve built many houses out of them and made designs on the fridge and metal doors!
My son is almost 3 and loves playing with them!
My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves using her big sisters magformers.
They do these in my daughters 3 yr old preschool class.

My buy price for these is .50 a piece. Only happens a few times a year, maybe twice. My 3, 5, 9, 11, and parents play with these. Easier than Legos, but still engaging for older kids. There are plans to build things, make up your own designs, or try to replicate a shape with specific pieces. I sneak in some geometry too.
