I bought the 6 qt yesterday from Kohl’s. Should I get the 8 instead for a family of 4?
6 qt should be good if your kids are little. Big growing boys tho – get the 8qt 🙂
I have a family of 4 and have the 6 and 8. I would not have regretted just getting an 8. It has so much more space. I like extra room for stirring and the option of making more when cooking for a group. FYI

It’s not recommended.
The size alone would be a waste of time to try pressure canning. In comparison my All American pressure canner is about 25qt you have to run a pressure canner for about an hour to properly process most recipes and it’s only worth all that work when you prep large batches of jars

I bought the 6qt from Kohl’s on Wednesday, but I’m wondering if I should get the 8qt and take back the 6qt?! I have a family of 6 with four kids ranging from 8-3 with another one coming in April 2018. Any suggestions?! Should I just get the 8qt or keep with the 6qt?
