Oh yes Target did the same to me but going to a local Starbucks they were awesome and took it!
They are target employees. Same with Meijer. The rules are different . I tried to tip them and that was not allowed either

That happened to me, try not putting spaces when you enter your phone number. It worked after that

I called my cell phone provider apparently my texting blocks third parties, that’s why I always had issues
Try the TextNow app– it’s free and it came through for me on that. I use this app to use less texts that I pay for on Tracfone.

My target app sent a notification of 50% off Starbucks. I tapped on it and it took me to the target app, 50% off coupon with barcode
Just used mine & got the bagged coffee with the $5 gift card (among other things of course 😄)
How did you do that? Mine refused saying it’s not merchandise, food, or drink.
I handed them my phone, they scanned the coupon and it automatically took off the 30%. I don’t know why it would work at some and not others. But coffee is a drink.
Lucky you! Mine refused the coupon too because they said the $5 gc that comes with the christmas blend is already a discount.

Per Starbucks corporate- coupon does NOT work on the bagged coffee or boxed tea. It only works on 1 drink item and 1 merchandise item and is only for 1 time use.
Worked for me on 3 drinks and bagged coffee ..
Not sure who you talked to in corporate. I called and they said it works on bagged coffee as well. Just came back from Starbucks and got 4 bags of ground coffee. So it does work!

Just used mine at our local Starbucks. He did have to scan the coupon twice for it to work. Got two coffees for $6.xx. Bonus for me bc I was getting coffee anyways.
Went to a stand alone store as well and it did not work for my mocha 😕

That’s horrible. My Starbucks ended up giving me 40% was off for the trouble of it not scanning!
Maybe it’s time to email customer service and share your experience. Tell them you don’t want to get anyone in trouble, esp with Christmas approaching and all, but they could probably remind the baristas the importance of good customer service.

Make sure to contact customer service– you can even just handle via email if you don’t want to call. They are HIGHLY likely to give to a credit for your drink.
My Starbucks (stand alone) was able to scan the coupon! Took 30% off of my venti latte so I was really happy!

We tried, at my Starbucks, to buy bagged coffee–they all had gift cards attached to them ($5 gift card per bag) They entered the coupon, and the total came to about $38, with 30% off..But when they scanned the gift cards, the total jumped to about $53..Disappointed, but it still came out to about the same cost…..
My Starbucks store was having 25% off certain merchandise & I was able to stack their sale with the 30% off coupon so I got the 6 pack of 16oz plastic refillable cups and a grande iced coffee for 9.44.
Not worked in my starbucks..they override and accept it…

I went to Starbucks in Target and they let me use the 30% off. They also had a $5 off coupon they scanned for me. I don’t know what it was because they just scanned it without giving it to me. It made my sequin tumbler and drinks/treats for the family super cheap!

I was able to get 30% off two frappuccinos at a stand alone store. After I got my order, I wanted to get some cake pops for later and the barista scanned my code again, but the machine told them it had already been used. So it’s a one time use coupon.

My starbucks and target starbucks would not except it. They said its for employees only. To bad. Not sure if hip2save know this or not.
