Use Holiday Leftovers to Make an EASY Pizza

Holiday Turkey Leftovers Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (I used Pillbury's Best that comes rolled in parchment paper)
  • 3/4 cup mashed potatoes
  • 2 teaspoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or any desired seasonings
  • 3/4 cups cheese, divided (I mixed Parmesan and mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup green bean casserole
  • 3/4 cup shredded turkey meat
  • 1 cup prepared stuffing
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce or salad
  • 1/4 cup gravy
  • 1/4 cup crispy fried onions

Directions

1

Roll out refrigerated dough onto a cookie sheet or pizza stone.

2

Bake pizza dough for about 4-5 minutes at 450 degrees until slightly golden brown.

3

Mix milk and mashed potatoes with 1/4 cup of the cheese mixture. Add any additional seasonings like salt, pepper, or even a little garlic powder if desired.

4

Spread the mashed potato mixture over the crust.

5

Top with shredded turkey, and green been casserole.

6

Roll teaspoon sized stuffing into balls and place on pizza.

7

Top with cranberry sauce, remaining cheese, crispy fried onions, and drizzle with gravy.

8

Return pizza to the oven and bake until golden brown, 8 to 10 more minutes, at 450 degrees.

Will you likely have leftover turkey and sides from holiday meals? 🍴

Get your family excited to gobble them up AGAIN with this creative and easy to make pizza idea! It’s a crowd pleasing meal that’s easy to adapt to your family’s taste and leftovers! I’ve used a store bought crust for convenience, but you could always make your favorite type of dough, including our popular Keto Fathead Pizza Crust if you’re doing the low carb thing.

This recipe adds cheese to mashed potatoes as a delicious base for the pizza. Mix in a little cream or milk to make them spreadable, and consider seasoning with garlic powder or even some ranch seasoning for extra flavor.

Roll stuffing into one inch balls for a creative presentation and consider adding crunchy onions for a yummy topping!

My family enjoyed this spin on leftovers!

Remember this is just a suggestion. You can design your own pizza with holiday leftovers in your fridge. I think a turkey and pesto version would be yummy also! Or maybe even a ham and cheese pizza. I hope this inspires some creative holiday leftover meals!
