I’m sorry I don’t know where to post/ask this. Is anyone else having SERIOUS problems with Amazon this year? I have been a Prime member for many years and do a serious amount of Amazon shopping. All of my packages this holiday season are showing up DAMAGED. Heavy books swimming in ginormous boxes with no packaging materials. Toys popped off their cardboard backings. What happened to the wonderful cardboard wraps that used to ship books?? I have torn dust jackets, bumped corners. Today, I received a softcover journal in a plastic bag. Creased front and back. I consider it ungiftable…with no time to replace it.
I had this conversation with a super-helpful CSR last week. He resent the heavy book and busted-open toy…..the replacements arrived IN WORSE SHAPE THAN THE ORIGINAL.
I’m going out of my gourd. So frustrated. I’m reconsidering my Prime which is due in January.

Yep! I had to have one of the big hardcover Harry Potter illustrated books reshipped twice, and the 3rd one I received still has a big scuff on the dust jacket. I gave up and kept it.🙈
Same here, unfortunately. Everything seemed to be wrapped excessively well in the past. Even things that didn’t need padding (yes, even my maxi pads!). This year all my subscribe and save foods/household items have been a mess, and many of the books and gifts I have been ordering came damaged.
Several of my books and dvds have arrived damage this season. Just got my coleman cooler in today. It was so overpacked it was ridiculous!!! Cushion a big plastic box but throw heavy books in a big box with a dvd no cushioning!! Sigh
Agree! I’m considering my membership as well. Quality if shipping is just not the same. And how bout the returns?! They charge for usps. Only Kohl’s drop off is free. Ridiculous!!😤

I am considering to stop prime too. The CRS weren’t helpful at all since Blackfriday. Damaged pictures sent, confused response, frustrated and disappointed.
Twice in the last few months I’ve received items from Amazon where the shipping package is fine but the item itself looks like it was stomped on and put in a blender before they packed it. I don’t do Amazon for gifts or time sensitive orders anymore.
Patty-yes-I’ve had a kids hardback book with dust jacket shipped with a piece of luggage, as you can imagine, the book took the worst of it. It was in a ginormous box, bigger than what a rocking horse would fit in, the luggage was a small piece of carry on luggage.
I’m sure they’ve hired additional help for the holidays. Some of my stuff has been okay, some hasn’t. I chatted. Wasn’t the resolution I had hoped for, but it was mediocre. I still love prime though.
These are awesome and are my go to birthday present for girls ages 2-7.
We got one of these sets a few years ago. It’s fun for girls to create their own jewelry with and it’s still played with occasionally. Just beware that some of the beads can pop off duriing wear and the jewelry can get lost.
My daughter loved these when she was younger. She is now 13 and they are in the sale/donate pile.
