I had to share! I went to JCPenney today to find a dress to wear to a wedding. I walked out with a gorgeous $140 dress for $17.81! It was on clearance and all clearance is now an additional 50% off. I also got a $55 PGA Tour Polo for my father in law for only $8 and more!

Love jc penney deals , but right now not happy with there shipping , I order a dress 4 weeks ago2 weeks ago that it got shipped – and I got a notice that dress was to be delivered today well nothing trying to track it and can’t find it – well I just used my macys cash had 40 bought 3 cosmetics paid 7.42 cash no rush on shipping and got 5 macys cash 😂😚😶that makes it up for the jcpenney deal
I can’t bring myself to jcpenny to face the chaos. I always give up after 5-10 mins of searching the unorganized racks.. 😟
That’s my problem with their clearance. It’s so chaotic I give up. Men’s is not as bad so I usually get my son some good deals but not me or my girls. 😔
My clearance was horrible. Usually they have rack after rack but I went today after getting the text and they had two racks!! Where did it all go???
Kathy, some of the things that I bought today were not marked as clearance, but did ring up as clearance with the additional 50% off
Is the Disney clearance also additional 50% off?
Yes, Disney clearance is half off, but not eligible for coupons. Only rewards. There are some pretty nice Finding Dory sets that come down nicely!
I guess it varies by store, the clearance racks at my store are always organized. I’m sure, this time of year, it is hard to keep racks organized. Most people aren’t considerate when it comes to putting items back.
The Disney clearance has always been an additional half off in the past.
Also no more price checkers. Associate told me to use the jcp app but it came up different prices when I checked out.
I found a couple of good looking fleece blankets on clearance for $2.50each so after the awesome event they’re having I only paid $3 for both 🤗🤗🤗
I got some great clearance deals this morning. I did better in the different sections instead of the giant Clearance section – that was a mess! Two super soft hoodie sweaters for juniors – each $5! And nice men’s sweaters for $8.75 each!
Went to jcpenney today in MA tons of clearance in every section! Columbia fleece for kids $7.xx! Matching p.j. sets for kids $5.xx tons of long sleeve girls sweaters and dresses and weirdly tons of Halloween costumes? Definitely worth a trip, they also had beautiful Christmas/New year’s dresses for girls for around 10 after the extra half off. Everything was very organized at my store. I spent about an hour there and left with a ton of stuff for $25 after my $10 coupon!

Does this just apply to the clothes? I tried to buy a ring on clearance at the jewelry counter and the cashier said it was only 25% off 🙁
Our store in GA had 70% off clearance last week!!:)
I get so many great deals at Jcpenny, right now I can get shorts for the summer for less than 5 bucks not to mention the golf shirts I like that cost over 60 for 7 bucks. It pays to think in advance and I won’t lie if I find shorts or shirts that I really like I will get more than one pair for the following years outfits 🙂
I went to JC Penney Tuesday and picked up some girls tops for my goddaughter that were on clearance. Once I noticed that the clearance was ringing up 50% off, I went back and got more children and infant’s clothes ( I stock up for baby showers). I also got 2 men’s Columbia fleece jackets for $11.99 each (regular $60). I decided to go back again yesterday to peruse the entire store’s clearance and get myself a jacket. All together, I spent about $120 total over the two trips and saved over $600 according to the receipts!!! The two jackets I originally got would have cost that!
Disappointed that some of the shoes were not an additional 50% off. The clerk said that she couldn’t do anything about it – some were “just that way”.
