Had one and it was not good and Nest eventually sent me my money back. I did buy the Nest 3rd generation since Nest stepped up and refunded my money.

The third generation is working good. I had issues with this model and was told by Nest it was functioning properly. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Nest customer service and finally had to contact nest directly through Facebook and also opened a BBB complaint. They made it right and that it why I purchased the Nest 3rd generation.

Try logging into Best Buy’s site. I was having trouble, too, but decided to go ahead and purchase it anyway at $169. As soon as I logged into bestbuy.com, though, my price dropped to $139. Good luck!
