Does transferring the promotional card balance to my DD Perks card count as a redemption?

$5 promotional card has expiration date. By transferring that value to your current DD card will count as redemption.
By doing this, the value doesn’t expire.

I tried to transfer the amount they was not able to do at the store. They said you can’t buy gift card by another gift card .. or they did not know how to do it .

Can I load the $20 e gift card to my DD app too along with the bonus $5 e gift card?
After purchasing on the website, you can load the cards to your DD app. To add a new card to your DD app, tap the DD pay, then at the top of the screen tap the manage cards. You can add the new cards there. Close out of the DD app and go back in (that part is important) and then you can merge your cards to your original DD card if you want all the money on one.

Be careful with the DD Perks app. It gets hacked regularly!! My hubby had someone hack his and use his rewards and $$ in New York.. we live in Indiana. I looked online and it happens all the time!! We got lucky our credit card wasn’t saved to the app because the hackers have stolen $$ through reloads from other people. Dunkin sent us a gift card with the $ we lost on it but didn’t give us our free drinks we earned that were stolen.

How long does it usually take for the recipient to get the e gift card? I had it sent today and am just wondering how long it should take for them to get it and for me to get the bonus money?
Can I use masterpass on the app to purchase a $10 gift card (plus $10) and then use the app to buy a $20 gift card (plus $10 promotion) online? Does that make sense? In other words, is there any way to make $10 become $30 with masterpass and the online promotional offer?
No. The masterpass deal is through the app, where the promo deal has to be done on DD website.
