I saw in fine print somewhere that it excluded Debit red cards.

Kristy- I have the red card debit card and online has always worked for me. You have to pay with it 100% – not a different card. That’s all I can think that would affect it.
Is this the items on clearance in stores ? Like the one they out the yellow and red stickers on. Or online cleanance ?

It’s not all clearance items. Just the ones marked “save an extra 20%” very confusing and deceiving.
Done finally! The extra 20%s do combine. Got 12 women’s tops, 2 purses, and a pair of Stride Rites for my son for $100. Regular retail for all of it would have been $480!

Hi all , 1st Merry Christmas to all. Now to vent on these sale prices , last night the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser Cordless Pet Vacuum was on sale for $33.99 & decided to wait for sale to purchase more items. Today it is on sale for $44.99 & although on clearance section not an additional 20% off, even if it was + my additional 5% it would still not be less than yesterday’s price. Sick of all these retailers bait & switch. So frustrating.

I think it was a bust overall! Like someone earlier the prices were raised to make up for the savings of the 20%. So called savings I mean. Holiday gimmicks 🙄
Also all clearance wasn’t eligible for the “extra 20%”off. Had to be marked to receive the “discount”. I’m not saying their wasn’t any discount at all on some things but not as advertised 🤔
The 20% clearance and 5% clothing stacked with the 20% cartwheel. As long as it’s in the clearance section it was taking off 20%, even if it didn’t say the extra 20% in the description. I did the math and it was the same as what they were doing! Some good deals!
Confused by your comment – I thought Cartwheel was in store only and could not be used online. Has something changed?

Not sure why everyone is complaining, I was happy with what I got. I got a 7 ft Unlit Christmas tree for next year for $28 Normally $80. 300 ct string lights for next year for $8 normally $22 and a ornament holiday storage for $6 normally $12. Pjs were also insanely cheap with the deal. I was happy. 🙂
The complaints are about the bait & switch. If you are buying Christmas stuff for next yr ofcourse we are getting deals, it’s when you saw something cheaper last night in the so called clearance section & it’s more expensive today & the 20% is not applicable. Yes, I love Target just hate the bait & switch, which all retailers do & why Justice store had a class action suit they lost & had to pay millions. We are going to buy stuff anyways why all the bait & switch. Just frustrating.

Just spent too much time online with little to show for it- my total was less than $30. I bought some Hearth & Hand gift bags and ornaments, 2 pillows. Target’s website is funky (at least on my end)- when I try to filter for “Shipping Only” it still throws in everything that’s “Check Stores.” It literally takes 3X the amount of time to get through anything that’s eligible to buy online. Frustrating!
Seriously, not one thing I have looked at, of 50+ items, has been available for delivery. Total let down 🙁
the 20% worked off normal clearance clothes for me. but it did not come off holiday clothes that were marked down 50% like pjs and christmas shirts.
