I’ve purchase this before… it’s okay for small Childrens clothing, but it’s made of plastic and a not-so strong “metal.” The racks and rod tend to bend if more than a couple of pounds is applied. I would not recommend for adult clothing as it’s definitely not meant for any real weight like a traditional closet.

I agree with Jenni – I also purchased this from Amazon in the past and it is quite flimsy although I believe it got great ratings. Once one of the rods comes out, the whole thing starts collapsing. Only good for small children’s clothing due to the low weight of the clothing.
Yes thank you. I would think it would be sturdier with the design. I have a plastic one as well and didn’t expect it to hold up as well as it did since it’s only one rod at the top and sides, but it holds quite a bit of my adult clothing but takes up little space. Hope to get something sturdier some day though so I’ll keep watching the reviews and sales.

You’re welcome. I bought if thinking it would be additional shelving in my closet (I’m always looking to organize more efficiently)…like I said, it’s okay for my 7 year old daughters clothing, but not for my jeans and sweaters/sweatshirts.
