Well, I was looking for amaryllis since , I had order some and there expensive , but some at Walmart 2 weeks before Christmas clearance from $5.00 to $2.50 went back there wasn’t anymore , which the Walmart I went to they just put items in basket and clearance the items , customer bought a few yard inflabables and Christmas tree for $50 glad I got plenty for my mom at 2.50 each
I bought the red bulb with the cream pot. The total with the REDcard was $5.25 shipped! I think I’m going to put the plant in my office to look at all day when I’m working. Thanks Hip2Save!!!

If your bulb it’s dried please don’t throw away place in a bigger pot if you want to keep it and they bloom maybe 2 times a year ! But they need space because they produce more , I have mine in the garden and I don’t take out just leave there they come out once a year so around Christmas my garden has some different Ines flowers out , some that I planted 3 weeks ago there verly coming out sone fixing to bloom around next month love all the different colors 🌸🌸
Hello thanks for this information. Are they cold hardy? Do they bloom outside in cold weather?
They actually bloom in spring outside. These are forced to bloom in winter – kept cold and then when its placed in a warm home, it blooms. But most of these have sat in the warm stores and have tried to start blooming in the box. I go thru them when they are on clearance but most are disfigured from trying to grow inside a box. They sell these bulbs fairly cheap in the Walmart garden center. Check where the seeds and other bulbs are sold.
