      You’re welcome Tracy!

I wear a lot of NF items as do my entire family. I have bought from Proozy but always wondered if they were real since NF items from Proozy do not come with hang tags. Long story short, after doing some comparison on ones I bought from Proozy and ones I bought that were verified real for Christmas, I am 99% sure these are fakes. Over the years I probably spent $500 on Proozy because of H2S and it is really the only time it H2S ever me down. I realize now I contributed to the fake markets in America. I should have known better with the no tags thing and with the fact that by the time you get the item (18 days or so) the return window is closed. Live and learn, but I do feel bad about it.

By the way, I am in no way blaming H2S! My gut knew they were fake awhile ago but I let my guard down since H2S has done so much for me. I would have followed by gut sooner on any other site, which says a lot about H2S.

I don’t know either way as I have never bought from them, I only buy from retailers I know. So I don’t know, but there are some ways to tell the fakes from real. Out news did a story on it. One way to tell is the North Face logo isn’t clear, there are flaws. The other is the zipper is bad quality as well as random threads and bad sewing job. To be absolutely sure you can call the company and see if they are a dealer too and ask them what to look for. I know they would want to help you. Like I said I don’t know and I have heard that about Proozy on here before but if you were wrong that wouldn’t be good either. I don’t mean this mean or judgmental at all because I totally get what you are saying.

Why are the tags never on the items?

      • Alex

Our company specializes in purchasing name brand goods in large volumes and passing that savings to our customers. Because we do buy last season’s or the remaining inventory in stock from a manufacturer or big box retailers it is a possibility that items will arrive without tags. This isn’t the norm but it can happen from time to time simply because of the sheer volume our company buys.

We always want to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied with their order and happy to help in any way we can to assure that.

        Best,
        Alex

Alex, I ordered over the holiday and mine came with no tags.. which is not that big of a deal even though it was a gift. When I read online about real and fake North face jackets I realized it was fake because under the black care tags which tell you how to wash it there should be a little white tag with a hologram sticker on it and there wasn’t one on mine. I was really iffy about it. The quality wasn’t like how north face has been for me in the past where I have purchased from a north face store. I agree with some of the other people and I will not be shopping on Proozy again.

You should report it, it’s illegal.

I recently purchased a women’s Columbia pullover and wondered why there were no tags. I personally won’t purchase from them again.

I got a Columbus half zip earlier this year. It is thinner and doesn’t feel like store bought Columbia. I thought it was just me.

Proozy.com is not an authorized retailer of The North Face- it is not listed on their page for online retailers. I called The North Face to ask, they confirmed Proozy sells fake items. Just an FYI!
