These really are great. Durable. Got a plain green years ago. Still use it.

Thanks! I agree these are the best! I am getting my daughter another one even though her first ones has already last through 4 years of elementary school.

I have purchased these in the past, but Costco has a lunch bag that was on sale at the beginning of the school year for the same sale price, and it has two sleeves for (included) cold packs. These from L.L. Bean do not come with the cold packs or have the side pockets for them, and the Costco ones seem more durable. Granted these are printed and Costco ones are plain but my 2nd grade boy is happy with it being just blue.

THE BEST lunch boxes hands down. My daughters are going on their 4th year of using theirs. I have washed them in the washing machine several times. I use the Ziploc rectangular divided containers – which fit a sandwich and two decent sized side portions. I can even fit two of the Fit and Fresh ice packs in to keep everything super cold.

I am bummed out that they don’t have an outside side pocket for a water bottle. I always send my kids with a Thermos Funtainer reusable water bottle and like the little mesh pouch on the side to put it in.
