Sorel boots are literally the best. Even their wedge boots are insanely comfortable!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Good to know how comfortable they are Naomi! Thanks for the helpful review!

Any brand suggestions for women’s wide boots? I’m really struggling to find a good, warm boot to fit my wide foot.

    • Brooke

I shop for my mom and have been able to get her Kamik boots that come in wide and are very lightweight and good to -44 F.

I recently purchased the Joan of Arch boot that were 1/2 off. I still have them but they fit really weird in the heel and are very heavy boots. Now I”m thinking of purchasing these to compare since I really need a snow boot. I have not worn Joan boots outside as of yet so I would return if these boots fit better. Any thoughts?

    • Celia

I also bought the Joan boots, they are pretty nice in quality, I am slim and have skinny legs, so I felt like they look too big on me so I don’t know whether to return them or keep them. It’s such a bummer because I really need winter boots ☹️.

I also bought the joan of Arctic boot through a deal posted here. Those boots are the worst I ever purchased, very stiff and heavy. I bought half size up, still fits small. Its a pain to pay the shipping for both ways.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh darn! Sorry to hear they are heavy and don’t fit well 🙁 Thanks for the honest review on those boots!

    • Dn

I second it. I got the boot last night, was a struggle to put it on even though I order 1/2 size up. And it still pinches my pinky. Unsure whether to return it or not because of the shipping, and that I got it at a great sales price. Urgg….

    • Allison

I’ve had a pair of the Joan of Arctic for a few years. I always order 1/2 a size up with Sorel. If I wanted to wear thick socks, I’d have to go up a full size. They are not a boot for everyday wear. I live in northern MI & only wear them in bad snow storms or if I’m going to be ice fishing, outside playing with the kids…etc. If I wore them in & out running errands I would roast & my feet would get sore. I don’t think they’re made to be a casual kind of snow boot.

I also bought the Joan of Arctic boots and they are great for heavy snow. These Cozy Cate boots are for light snow according to the description.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful comment Kel!

    Don’t forget 5% through ebates!

  7. Yessenia

I also bought the Joan of Artic boots and I love them! Yes, they’re heavy but not unbearable. I have small but wide feet and found these to be true to size. I’ve worked them 3 times already since getting them a week ago.

  8. Amy R

I have a wide foot and a wide calf. Does SOREL make anything that would fit me?

    • Jennlk84

I didn’t see wides available. I too am searching for a similar boot and haven’t had much success yet!

  9. Amy

I have $200 In my cart and it is not free shipping…is there a code for free shipping?

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I’m seeing that as well! Thanks for the heads up! We are updating this in the post.

  10. AOhio

Thanks, I wish I could buy shoes/boots online, my feet are wide and I have always had to return them when I bought them online. It’s even difficult to find ones that fit in the store

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You’re welcome! Sorry to hear it has been difficult to find a good fit! Hoping you can score some soon!

  11. Jennifer D

If you wear a size 6, 6.5, or 7 you can get these same boots from Sundance for $58.99 (which includes shipping fee of $10.95). They have an extra 40% off clearance.

  12. Hilary

If anyone purchased the Joan of Artic once’s and don’t like them, Im looking for a pair. My daughter wears a 7.5 or 8. I’ll pay for them and shipping if someone wants to sell theirs. My daughter wants a pair, but I didn’t know when they were on sale:(

    • Becky

Hilary – I do! Feel free to message me and I’ll send you the info about them. Jabwood@cox.net

  13. Michelle

Thanks so much for sharing this. I missed out on the last Sorel sale….and today, I was able to get a pair for just $76. So happy!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Yay! You’re welcome Michelle! Glad you were able to grab the savings this time!

  14. Kc

Does anyone else have a size 8 they want to sell?

  15. Catherone
