I followed the scenario you posted on Pantene, used magic machine coupons, manufacturer’s coupons, and $16 EB I saved from December and today’s pantene/crest deal. I paid on total for 2 transactions, including tax (8.75% in CA) ….$5.09 ! Then I got $6 EB for buying cosmetics, so, all the above was free plus .91 cents money-maker! So I’ve been getting these emails for a while and have made out on some great store deals lately at Macy’s and Llbean. I just read the cvs scenarios for the razors. I hate paying so much for them. My questions are: what is SS? And I can use the magic coupons that print at the machine and manufactures coupons? I never knew that. I’d love to stock up in razors and toothpaste!

Hi Christine! Yes! You can use Manufacturer coupons as well as the Magic Machine coupons. Also, SS is for the insert coupons from the Smart Source coupon inserts. 🙂

Extra Bucks are basically a coupon printed out on your receipt that you can spend like in store cash on your next purchase. You can also apply coupons to your deal, if grabbing the specific vitamins listed above you may be able to print that coupon and apply it to your purchase in order to spend less out of pocket. I have a quick question. Here where I live in (southern California) they often have the deals for the next week posted by mid-day Saturday in the stores. Does anyone know whether the ExtraBucks would start printing then or would you still need to wait until Sunday to make your purchase? I am really curious as I have some $2/1 all coupons that expire tomorrow but all goes on sale at cvs on Sunday.
I am from Norcal and my store does Early Activation on Saturday at 4pm. Yes, the extrabucks will print but be sure to shop at 5pm or 6pm to be on safer side.

Yes hair care includes shampoo, conditioner, styler and treatment. For the spend $30 get $10 EB deal, you have to reach it before your 50% coupon. This week I got 2 L’oreal Hydra Genius moisturizers for $18.29 each, which exceeded the $30 threshold, and used a 40% coupon on them. Hope that helps.

Hi pvw. I think this week the deal spend $30 get $10 just for L’Oreal face care only. Not hair products. Make sure you check before buy because I did not see sale at my store in NY. Hope that help.
Did anyone have issues printing the .75 coupon off 1 toothbrush from Colgate? Mine printed half the coupon and it is huge!
