23andme is fine, but if you’d like to get a thorough evaluation of your health then check out https://promethease.com/, which is currently free and works with the results from ancestry.com, 23andme, familytreedna, etc.
Also, it’s best to take some of this stuff with a grain of salt. 23andme indicated my genes put me at a heavier weight than an average female my age and height, which was over 35+lbs heavier than how much I weigh. I’m short, so it’s a whole lot of weight. Everyone is different, and these tests don’t give you any kind of magic results. They predicted I had lighter hair and a lot of freckles, which is not the case.
I have be struggling with my weight my whole life and i have been very curious about DNA test that let you know what food affect your weight lost. I never ordered one because of the price but i bit the bullet this time since is under $100
These sound super interesting! I’ve done the Genographic one and Promethease but these sound just plain fun! I ended up ordering the Joint one and the Skin Aging one =)
