I’m hooked on this site. I love it. I’ve been very happy with the quality of clothing I’ve received. I love how you can easily navigate the site and find brand specific, color, and size clothing for easy shopping.

Yes! I LOVE this site! I never have luck in thrift stores, but have scored some amazing deals on toys and books for my daughter. Everything has been in new or nearly new condition.

I have used schoola, swap, and thredup. The prices, discount offers, and quality make swap my favorite. I’ve never purchased an item that was in lesser condition than described. I have gotten New With Tags on items that weren’t labeled which is always a welcomed surprise.

I’ve used Swap a few times and have never been disappointed! When some dresses didn’t fit the way I expected, I contacted Swap and they emailed me a free return label. I received website credit for the full value I paid and was able to use it on my next purchase. After spending what felt like hours in my local Savers for pieces of this year’s Halloween costume with no luck, a quick search on Swap led me to everything I needed and at a fair price.

This site is amazing! I’ve ordered from them several times in the past year and not one complaint. Their children’s books are really impressive, I’ve purchased several and all have been like new! I’m actually getting ready to order again and would be so grateful if someone would consider using my link. Thanks so much! God Bless!

I resell on Poshmark so I compared prices on Free Prople and Anthropologie and these seem a bit high, especially for items not to be NWT.

I agree; I resell on Mercari so I am pretty conscious of the prices on Swap. That being said, I did score 2 Patagonia jackets for less than $20 each and resold them for double that. I have found amazing deals on Swap and some not so great. I rotate between Schoola, Swap, and thredUp. I find the best resale options on Schoola as they frequently have 75% off promo codes. I picked up an Oscar de la Renta sweater for $3.75 (I kept it haha). My thredUP shopping is typically for myself and not resale; I actually have sent Schoola & Swap stuff to thredUP to get credit.

That’s smart! I go to the goodwill outlet and just buy by the pound. I find stuff in perfect condition and spend maybe a dollar max per item. I just look for the brands that do well on Posh-Anthropologie, Free People, J. Crew, Madewell. It’s amazing what people donate. I’ve found REAL Tory Burch flats and a Kendra Scott ring. I think the thrill of finding that stuff is almost as fun as the resell 😜

How is this site for selling? I tried to order a bag from thred up today but they are backed up til April. I don’t care for them (thred up) much anyway.

    • ecroston

I sent a bag into Swap on 11/1/17 and it STILL HAS NOT processed so I have no idea. I emailed them, since they said it takes around 60 days, and they said they are still processing bags from October. Can’t say I’m impressed so far; they should have let me know immediately at the 60 day mark.

This is great! I’m getting so fed up with thred up. People just hold things in their cart forever without ever buying it! What kind of business is that?!

Any success with selling clothes on Swap.com or Schoola? I want to get these clothes out of the house. 🙂 I saw the comment about Swap.com being very slow to process, but any other feedback??? TIA

    • Melinda

They are a fantastic site to sell on. Yes, it does sometimes take awhile for the to process the boxes, but I’ve found it to be worth it. So much better than the work of a yard sale. Keep in mind that they are very picky about clothing condition. Any tiny tears, stains or marks and they will not accept it. Also if it looks fairly worn, don’t send it in. Just try to look very carefully at clothes before sending them in. And of course brand names will always sell better than generic brands.

Also, since you pay for shipping in by the box, try to find a box size that is at or close to the maximum size they will accept. This will save you money. I always have a box started and then when I can’t fit one more item in it, I send it in.

I just got my shipment from Swap.com. I had high hopes but it was not as described. Also one of the shirts had a small hole and another shirt smelled. Another item was just missing. I prefer Thred Up as at least their clothes are as advertised. But prefer to buy my clothes new at a big sale. At some of these prices, I can just buy new.

Thank you so much! I’m in between sizes and hate spending a lot on temporary clothing. I just scored a lot of dress pants for under $50.

So I tried this site after the post a couple weeks back. I ordered twice. In my first order a pair of loafers came with a missing tassel, I followed the instructions that came with the box for a return but they said I could keep the shoes and quickly refunded me the money within 24 hours. Which was good but I can’t do anything with the shoes because the tassel is missing and unless I have the missing tassel it can’t be fixed (they are also a very cute metallic pink so not easy to replace.) With my second order, one of the cardigans I ordered came with a hole on the shoulder- again I contacted to process a return and again they refunded my money for that item within 24 hours. The other items came in good condition and I was happy that the items that were damaged were quickly refunded. So I would use this site again but probably only with a discount code and keeping in mind that even though item is listed as good condition, it still may have damage.

I have to say the clothes are very good quality for what you pay for them! I recently bought some tops for my daughter and ended up wrapping the box up and gave the tops for Christmas. My 5 year old didn’t know the difference!
I am ready to place another order, If someone would use my Link for their awesome purchase, I don’t mind to use someone else’s link in return!

  13. Mandi

Does the 50% off code only work for one item? I signed up through the link given and the HIP2SAVE50 code only worked on the cheapest item. When I removed the cheapest item, it said that the code is not valid for the items in my cart? They are both full price.

  14. Mama6

I ordered from this site when it was first posted here awhile back. I was happy with the clothing I received along with the condition. I will order again this time. However, I would probably only order with a promo code 🙂

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks a bunch for the feedback, Mama6!! 🙂
