Anybody know how durable this straws are to a child that like to chew on stuff?!

    • Jess

The straws aren’t overly durable. My 4 year old started chewing on one and I had to cut the chewed part off because it got pretty mangled. We’ve only had them since Christmas. Also, they are quite small.

I recently purchased a 4 pack of Ozark Trails Lowball tumblers from Walmart for $15. They are a little bigger and work much better for my 2 & 4 year olds. I’m also not having to get up to get more water 5 times through a meal.

  2. Just passing through

I saw a 4 pack of this size (10 oz I think) at Walmart ( ozark trail brand) for $19.99 no straws

I don’t have small children. I didn’t see how many ounces? I thought about using it for my smoothies.. thoughts?

    • Lynn

Rachel, these are 8.5 oz and really tiny. I previously ordered these for my almost 3 granddaughter and although terrific quality, I soon learned that they were WAY TO SMALL for even her! I had to fill them about 5x throughout the day so quickly they were returned. I am looking into the lowball tumblers from Walmart that Jess mentions in her comment above, but I do feel granddaughter could probably us the 20 oz. easily as she uses her “Papa’s” 30 oz. Yeti pretty easily when he shares LOL

Thanks Linda for the input! I will Pass! I won’t shop at Walmart after watching the documentary “the high price of low cost.”

    Lynn,
I am going to pass then. Thanks for the input. I refuse to shop at Walmart since watching the documentary “the high price of low cost” years ago. I love H2S!!
