I have this printer. I hate it! It is super slow!! It is even super slow when printing in draft quality black ink!!
JH, I believe that I read somewhere on amazon comments that a guy had the same issue but did something in settings to fix it. I may be wrong but it is worth googling or contacting customer service. Our does the same but it doesn’t bother me enough to see if it can be fixed. We love our printer. I use it for homeschooling.
