These upholstered headboards generally do run a pretty penny..
$183.38 for the Charlton (CHRL5186) headboard for a King size bed. Not such a great deal for me!
Anyone heard the rumor about bed bugs on the inside of these? Or has anyone ordered one and can share your experience?
I have bought 2 upholstered headboards on Wayfair. One on my own and one posted on H2S. Amazing quality and no bed bugs (yuck!). The thing about any piece of furniture it can harbor bedbugs ONCE YOU HAVE THEM ALREADY. When your buying items new, can you get them? Yes, absolutely. Is it likely from a place like Wayfair? No! The floor model furniture from a local furniture store is more at risk. Fair warning though, the idea behind bedbugs and these. Those pesky awful things LOVE these types of headboards. Keep in mind they are called bedbugs for a reason but can be found anywhere. Educate yourself and you will be fine, me personally I wouldn’t want a fabric headboard at all for that very reason. Its definitely a personal choice on what you want to have in your home.
