(Thanks, Sarah!)
So sad. Our mall will be losing its last big store. We lost Sears and JCPenney already and now Younkers will be joining them. I walked around yesterday and not counting the big stores that have left, there are about 16 empty spaces. I think our mall is dieing out.
No WAY! This is so tragic I love my bon ton store 🙁
Wow … 🙁 So many stores closing recently.
To many closing in my area.🙁
TERRIBLE NEWS. I was hoping they were hanging in there………we knew Macys, Sears, Penny’s Kmart, etc had been in trouble for a long time. So those store closings weren’t surprising, although sad. Carson’s/BonTon, etc is pretty much the last of the mid-range department stores. So now it will be Walmart/Target, and Nordstrom/Bloomingdales, no in-between.
I have 2 Bon Ton stores within 15 minutes in opposite directions & surprisingly neither of them are on the list.
I’m surprised that the one near me isn’t on the list. There’s never anyone in there.
Not surprised. Younkers is so expensive!
I’m glad the Bon Ton down the street from me will still be around.
I remember going to Bon-Ton when I used to live in Happy Valley, PA. One of the most stuffy and expensive departments I’ve ever been to.
