This deal has come up so many times recently and I’ve always looked but been hesitant to make the purchase being unsure about quality. Anybody have any idea about the quality of these comforters?

    • Mom of 3 princesses

The quality is not that great. Sheets are very thin. Washed them once and they got all these little balls on them. Very uncomfortable to sleep on after that.

      • Laura

You can shave them off with a razor, or I use a Sweater Saver to remove the pills.

I don’t like the fact that they aren’t cotton. But then again this is such a great deal for a comforter!

Bought a set in the fall, and the quality ISO’s. Think Walmart/Kmart level. For $20 though, it’s perfect for my teenager…but will need to be replaced in a year.

      “quality is OK.”
      Sorry, autocorrect got me!

Thanks for taking a moment to comment Luna! Good to know they are light weight!

    Check reviews before buying.

Don’t like them at all the comforter poor quality it goes into balls inside when I wash it ! I would only buy it to use it if visitor comes to make bed pretty but rather buy some at bath and bed beyond when they clearance better quality , I bought some from Macy’s last year and gave them away

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

DARN! Sorry to hear these have not washed up well! Thanks a bunch for sharing your experience Edy!

Yes the quality isn’t that great but I get them for my small children. Just in case any accidents occur such as spilled drinks or sick nights its not too much of a loss since it wasn’t expensive. We then turn the unwanted or damaged comforters into make shift doggy beds. 🙂

The quality is so-so, they are thin and look wrinkled often. Def worth $20 for a guest room or kids room that you would buy an expensive comforter for.

I was looking at them for my son who will be off to college next fall. I found a nice set that was in the $44.99 (reg. $120.) which had high ratings. I think it’s a good deal and will ask him to choose his favorite color scheme – there were 3 and order it ASAP.

I have the Liam Reversible 3-Pc. King Comforter Mini Set. I do not like it, however, I am very picky and someone that likes to stay as cool as possible throughout the night. My husband on the other hand loves it. He is the kind of guy that would sleep in a snowsuit if he could do it comfortably! So, now we sleep with 2 different comforters. the new one for him and my super duper old one for me. I just cannot give up my old comforter. it is perfectly worn in and soft and keeps the perfect cool temperature. On a positive note, I will say that the design of the Liam comforter is very pretty and looks nice on the bed.

I’m like that with my pillow. My husband has the up-to-date memory pillows and I’m using the same one I bought at Target like 7 years ago. It is just perfect!

As many others have stated, the quality is indeed poor. After a single wash, I saw the material coming apart. Kohl’s the big ones are so much better and warmer too!

I’ve had several of these, no they aren’t top quality. But for someone like me, who likes to change their bedding often, the thin material doesn’t bother me. I like light covers and for 20 bucks if it snags or something I have no problem tossing them.

I bought four different designs last deal for six beds in my house. They were okay for my kids but the one that was similar to the picture at the top is SO SO cheap feeling. And it was for our master bed!!!! It feels like a cheap rental beach house fabric. There’s NO way it’s worth $80. Okay if u r looking for cheap.

I bought a set for my daughter. Of course I washed the twin set before use, and the seams came apart in areas– not worth the hassle.

  16. H

Not worth it. The fitted sheets frustrate me so much as they come off every time there is a movement on the bed.
