Looking for a fun kids Valentine’s Day snack? 💌

Check out these adorable drink box robot snacks that are super easy to put together for a unique craft idea! You could make robots for your child’s classmates or as a special Valentine’s Day treat. It’s also something enjoyable the kiddos can help create.

The best part – all the supplies are available at your local dollar tree for just a buck each! I was able to pick up an assortment of juice boxes, fruit cups, and candy at Dollar Tree, making this a pretty inexpensive food craft.

Feel free to customize the contents of your robot with food items that you’d prefer. You can also opt to not do candy and add other items, and even tape on paper hearts instead of candy. This idea is super versatile and a chance to be creative.

Tip: You could even tape a plastic spoon to the back for the apple sauce cup!

Valentine’s Day Robot Snacks

Ingredients for each Robot:

Directions:
  • Glue or tape two raisin boxes to the bottom of juice box.
  • Glue apple sauce upside down to the top of juice box.
  • Glue Smarties to each side of juice box as arms, and googly eyes to the front of apple sauce.
  • Finish by adding heart chocolate to the front of juice box and any other embellishments.

How cute are these snacks??!!! 🤖 ❤

My daughter and I had so much fun putting our robots together and she’s excited to share with friends! It just take a few minutes to complete each one.

I love this idea for a Valentine’s Day party! So CUTE and creative!

So stinkin’ cute!!!! But I don’t think my freshman would enjoy them. 😊 The years go so fast

Susie, you would be surprised! I have taught grades K-12 over the last 12 Years, and believe it or not, it is generally the high school kids that get a kick out of these things the most (they obviously will never tell you, most likely never thank you, and say that it was silly, but they do love stuff like this). 😉

Agreed! My sister teaches 9th grade and they like stickers on their schoolwork. sometimes if they need a band-aid and my sister offers them a plain vs a SpongeBob they take SpongeBob.

So cute I wish I didn’t need 50 of them for the 2 of my kids. That could get pretty expensive.

Any cute vday ideas for non edible things?

  5. Nichole

I thought the same. I would need 60 for my 2 kids. I did make these when it was just for my sons class years ago, I got on sale and with coupons. Turned out super cute. This year I did full size kit kats for both classes from Meijer’s sale this week. Buy 5 get 5.

Can you give me the price break down? I’ll have to check Meijer out! Thanks

Well if using dollar tree the juicy juice came 4/$1 as well as applesauce cups. Raisins were 6/$1. So maybe around a dollar or less per robot. Hope that helps!
