I love these battery deals! I don’t think I will ever run out now! I keep rolling them with my rewards!

    • Jilla

Last time I tried to pay with my rewards they wouldn’t allow it. I had done it on previous purchases.

      • Lk

Worked for me a week ago. I keep my parents and sons stocked with batteries

        • asha

You want to make sure if you got the rewards for the ones you purchased with rewards. I did buy them but I didn’t get the rewards. You can’t get rewards if you pay with rewards.

  2. Briana

They said that if you pay with rewards, you won’t get rewards…I have never done rolling rewards 🙁

  3. Steph

As long as the deal cost you $$ in the end, like .99 or .01 after rewards! And not free, after reward. You can (roll) use your rewards and also receive them back!

    • Elizabeth

Yes, I agree with Steph! Can’t be free to work. Need to pay at least $.01 for it to work!

      • asha

        I didn’t know this

So please give me the scenario for some reason I’ve never understood this rolling business…I currently have 19.53 in rewards. I go to the store and purchase AA batteries for 15.99. Do I pay cash or do I use my 19.53 rewards to pay. If I use my rewards to “pay” the full amount owed, then do I earn the 15.98 rewards?

    • Kelly

Yes! That is exactly right. You will go purchase batteries for $15.99 and tell them you would like to use your rewards – you will be paying $16.— and change for your batteries ($15.99 + tax) and in turn in the next couple days you will see a reward of $15.98 back on your account. Then you can do it again the next time the same way. Even if you have $10 in rewards you will just pay the difference $6 and change and then the $15.98 will appear in your rewards. The only thing is DO NOT DO IT IF the item will be free. Ex: pay $5 for paper and get $5 in rewards – you will NOT receive rewards on FREE items if you pay with rewards. If it’s $.01 that you end up paying, or more, IN THE END, you WILL get rewards. So again, DO NOT use rewards on FREE items. HTH 😊

      • Briana

Then with your explanation the battery deal is always possible… didn’t know that…

        • Kelly

          You’re welcome! Glad to help!

      • dhcoupons

Thanks for your detailed explanation. So, if I currently had $40 rewards money in my account and the deal is “limit 2”, I can purchase 2 packages of batteries and pay it all with my rewards money and still earn rewards on both items.

I get the “free item” explanation. Can’t roll rewards on a “free item”. I can always use my rewards on a “free item” if I really need something but I will use my rewards and get back same amount in rewards so won’t get ahead.

        • Kelly

          Hi dhcoupons,
Yes, you can purchase 2 and use your rewards and get $15.98 x2 back in rewards. 🤗

You can always use your rewards on free items but you will get NOTHING back in rewards -if the item is free. You can always opt to purchase the free item and NOT use rewards and in turn you will get 100% of the rewards back. Ex: $10 for a ream of paper and get 100% back – so long as you PAY the $10+tax, you will see the $10 back in rewards. However, if you use REWARDS, you will receive $0 in rewards back. HTH

            Thanks!!

I was recently introduced to Office Max rewards (on Black Friday) and it seems like they have these battery deals a couple times per month.
I never paid attention prior to Black Friday; when did they start these Duracell deals, and how often have they been having them?
