So glad to hear that you love it! Thanks for sharing!

I got this for Christmas and you absolutely MUST have one if you own a Kitchen Aid mixer and LOVE ice cream. It’s so easy to assemble, use, and store. And with lots of great recipes in the included booklet, and on the internet, you’ll never want to buy store bought ice cream again.

This is an AMAZING price. I cannot praise this attachment enough!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Awesome! Thanks for the great feedback, Stephanie!

Man, I was just about to buy the ice cream maker attachment, but a lot of the reviews on target and amazon mention a blue liquid leaking, and kitchenaid customer service being unhelpful… Anybody here have this issue?

    • K

I’ve had mine for close to three years without issue.

I have this ice cream maker attachment and after a few uses mine leaked blue liquid and they would not replace it.

Darn! I’m sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with it. Thanks for your honest feedback.

Thanks for the reply.. too many complaints on their Facebook page as well… really wanted one too 🙁

Yup! I got a brand new Cuisinart ice cream maker at Goodwill for $8. Ice cream makers tend to be popular wedding gifts that get immediately donated!

Got a cuisinart ice cream maker a a yard sale a few years ago for $5. Love it. The reviews about the Kitchenaide attachment leaking blue liquid is enough to scare me away from that!
