Don’t forget to go through ebates -17.5% back

    • Jon

      Yes!

    • rebecca

right?! makes the book only $8.25, and if i use it twice, i already find it worth it at that price.

    • JessicaGuzman13

Thank You!!! That is why I always read the comments, Love H2S!!! And the followers!

  2. lindak

TopCash has 20% back also. Thanks. This is perfect for my son who just moved back to the Dallas area.

  3. Mrs.W

I’ve never heard of these books. For those of you who have got them, are they worth it? I’m in the Columbus, Ohio area.

    • Jenn

You can look up your area and see coupons offered there on their site.

    • Tp

I live in Saginaw and the books are crappy. But I travel to Detroit a lot and their books are worth it.
A lot of the coupons are buy a meal and 2 drinks and get a second meal for free.
I think you can preview book online.
Basically if you use one coupon it pays for it self.
      I would say try it.

    • LF

I’m in the Dayton/Cincinnati area. I got one last year when they went to $5. It doesn’t seem like there is a lot in there anymore but I definitely got my $5 back. They did have a 10% off Kroger coupon. Columbus may have more offers than my area. Go Bucks!

      • Viviana

Do you remember when they go down to $5 a book?
        I never try them…

        • LF

I want to say end of summer, it was posted here.

      • Loving It

        Go Bucks….

        • Mrs.W

Thanks so much for the helpful feedback everyone!😊

        • Shayla

I use to live in Columbus and just the Fazolis coupons I got my $ worth 😊. It won’t go to $5 til end of summer, where you’ll have less than 3 months to use it (I did this last year when we moved to Tampa). Can’t beat $10 and you get to use it for 10 months!!! Plus now they have mobile coupons too so double the coupon. Def pays for itself! Go Bucks!!!!

    • Kathy P

I am in Columbus and buy several of these each year. I have a family size of 6 and we use a lot of the coupons. To me they pay for themselves after using 1 or 2 of the coupons.

    • Amy

They used to be great. The Dayton Ohio book no longer has the 10% off Kroger coupon. We would buy 5-6 books when they go down to $5 a book and place really big clicklist orders. I have 5 kids so the time savings and the % off was great.

    • Katie

Last year’s book had BOGO zoo ticket, so you would break even on that alone if not a zoo member haha. It also had some big retailer coupons like a couple $10 of $50 at Dicks, a 40% off an item at Michael’s, 20% Bed Bath Beyond.

    • sann

If you stay in a hotel it will pay for the book. It’s for people who eat out, and go do stuff in your community often. When we used it for a hotel we were out of town and just gave them the number on the card and it took 50% off.

  4. Sara

I am in Naperville IL and I have bought one the last 6 years. The last 2 years I have been disappointed. Passing this year.

    • Angela

Me, too. Last year i bought when H2S posted but I did not use even one coupon. But great for those who do!

    • I

Oh thank you . I live in Naperville too . I never try them .. may be will wait and buy if it’s go down for $5

      • rebecca

they also have some national deals in them, so that might be worth it to you. they often have hotel deals, car rental agencies, Nike store, and similar. also, my area has had $5 off at the grocery store, and it had 4 of those. and the coupons can be useful for car washes and oil changes.

  5. Tiffany Mo

Thank you! These books are so worth it, especially at this price!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  6. apwade21

Got mine! Thanks so much 🙂

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re very welcome!

  7. KellyK

    Thank you! Got mine.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Yay! You’re so welcome!

  8. Amanda

Thanks. I picked up two. One for our hometown and one for the area we are going on holiday.👍

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Perfect! You’re welcome Amanda!

  9. Ada

Can’t decide if I should buy the book or the digital version… any suggestions!
    Thank you!!!

    • Myrah

Ada, whenever I purchase the book, they give me a free digital version. This is in NY so I don’t know if it’s regional but it should let you know. Just click on start saving and you will have the option of buying the book or getting the digital version. If you read what you get with the book, it should say the digital version is included.

      • Ada

        Thank you!!!

  10. Sun

Mrs W, if you are unfamiliar with this coupon book, $10 is definitely a “try me price”. I would give it a whirl. I live in AZ, my book is over 500 pages, and I love it it that it’s good for a whole year. The thing I really like about the book is that it brings attention to restaurants and merchants that I never knew existed. I find it entertaining and informative. And for that, I think it’s worth the price of admission.

  11. Lana

The SC book is only worth buying if you live in Charleston or Columbia.

  12. Heather

I buy these every year. The UT book s about 1/3 smaller this year. Not near as much in there. ☹️

    • Kirsten

Heather, can you tell me some of the things that are in the Utah one? This is the first time I am considering it. I live in the Utah county area. Would you have bought it again even with it being a 1/3 smaller? What kind of deals are in there?

      • Jenn

If you go to the site, it will ask you if you’d like to preview some of the places. Once you enter your state, it will have a list of cities. HTH.

    • andrea

I would like to hear what’s in the Utah one as well. I’m in Utah County. I specifically am interested in discounts to Hang Time 🙂

      • rebecca

i’m in UT Co. also, and i just ordered the book, so it didn’t arrive yet. when i checked the digital coupons available, i didn’t see Hang Time.

        • rebecca

also, the UT one is a book for the whole state, not like in other places where the books are available for different metropolitan areas.
as an overview, i saw Kid to Kid, Culver’s, Jiffy Lube, JCW’s, The Legacy Center, Funtopia, Arby’s, Cinemark, Taco Time, Gandolfo’s for Lehi/AF area. but a lot of other nearby cities are included in book, and there are dozens of discounts for most of the towns in this area.

  13. MADELYIN

    got one, thanks

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re most welcome! Happy you could score one!

  14. sri

    Thank you! Got one

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  15. Kblack13

It has been a few years since I bought one. Now I noticed that many of the states are not even available, including mine.😟

    • M

Me either. The ones for my area are the SaveAround books, around $25. Good news is they usually give you a $25 gift card to papa johns or Starbucks. It changes often though(the gift card).

  16. Nikole

Im wanting to buy one for our vacation this year if i buy the book for Kansas city can i still use it in Colorado where i live? Or vice versa?

    • L Click

No. The book is area specific

    • mamasweetpea08

The book is area specific and while you may have coupons that work only for the area purchased, in the past, registering a book also allowed access to additional digital coupons and offers. I was also able to log in and find coupons to print and use for areas or other cities I was visiting. There are also some digital coupons you can redeem by showing the offer on your mobile device. All in all, it easily pays for itself with the use of 1 or 2 coupon and more so if you also take advantage of digital coupons available.

  17. Veronica

When it gets down to this price (or lower) I always pick one up. I am in the Grand Rapids/Lakeshore, MI area and usually using just 1 coupon makes the book pay for itself. We are a family of 5 and always find a bunch of coupons to use: the Childrens Museum, trampoline park, my car wash, aquatic center, several restaurants, ice cream places and more. Our family enjoys it!

    • LC

hey! That’s where I am too!

  18. Vonda Borer

Ebates users – on a computer, you don’t have to “go through Ebates” ever if you download the add on button. It pops up on ANY Ebates eligible page alerting you. You just click and shop!

  19. LC

I got this last year and it was very disappointing (west Michigan). Almost all of the places we tried to use coupons were out of business or wouldn’t take them…

  20. dino

I live in southern California are this worth a try?

  21. Suzanne

We’re in STL and paid $10 last year— I did not think it was worth it. It was a lot of effort to pay off my $10 investment. Just a tip 🙂

  22. Lily

I’ve never bought this book before, for $10 worth a try. I did the online membership and there’s no coupons for dining ☹️. Maybe I have to wait till the book arrives.

  23. Denise

Got one for myself and each of my adult children – these typically pay for themselves within the first use, especially at just $10 and cash back by going through a cash back site! 😀

  24. Michelle

Interested in the Miami book. I need feedback. Some has bought it?

  25. Cindy

Also, if you sign up for “annual renewal” you get an additional 25% off. You can cancel that anytime, I usually once I receive the book. Just got mine for $7.50 shipped! PLUS 17.5% on ebates 🙂

    • Amber

      5. If you cancel prior to receiving your first Book(s) through the Annual Renewal Program (2019 Book), your credit card will be charged a $5 cancellation fee per Book. If you do not cancel your Annual Renewal Membership, Entertainment® will charge your credit card when the new Book is printed and ready to ship.

  26. Susan W

Swagbucks is giving 14sb per dollar. Surprisingly, the confirmed by Shop & Earn (140sb) in less than 2 hours.

  27. ree

    $8 after topcashback 20% back!

Browsing what coupons i will print for use later on!

  28. Jennylynn3880

How much are they usually, when not on sale?

    • rebecca

normal price this time of year is $35, this is a short flash sale for the $10 price. as the books get a lot closer to expiring (they expire end of 2018) regular price will go down a lot, as low as $5 when the books are getting old.

  29. Mia

Everything on this book in my area are something I can get coupons online or in the mail for free every week.
It used to be really good.

  30. Teresa

I would like to know what kind of discounts are in this book. I like in North Georgia and it only gives you the option to put in Georgia so that means I may have to travel a great distance just to use a coupon or discount. DIRECT ME ON HOW TO VIEW THEIR DISCOUNTS OR LET ME KNOW WHAT THEY OGGER. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

    • rebecca

      https://shop.entertainment.com/products/atlanta-coupon-book#mechant-list-head
use this link to see all offerings in the book for your state. if you scroll halfway down the page, you will see a list of over 200 cities that are all included in your Georgia book. you can click on individual cities to see examples of businesses that are included in your area.
you will not be able to view the exact discount until you purchase the book, but you can see the businesses that have coupons represented in each of the towns. most discounts are BOGO free or 50% off of something, like an entree or an admission price.

      • Teresa

        Thank You Rebecca 😁

        • 9Teresa

I just looked and it doesn’t show much for my area other than hotels, car rental and Carnival Cruises. We are planning a cruise but not sure if it’s worth getting the book seeing as though we will be going though an agent. Thank You Again Rebecca

  31. Jennifer

I get one every year. Also sign up for auto renew after the book comes you can log into your account and shut that off but you will only pay $7.50 for your book shipped!

    • Amber

It states that if you cancel before the next book ships they charge you $5.

  32. Shannon

KidStuff coupon books are on sale too for $15.00!! They NEVER go on sale, you can buy them direct on their website with free shipping!! Whooo Hoo!

  33. Mary

I’m in SW Michigan and shop in NW Indiana – South Bend and Mishawaka. They have NOTHING regarding SB and Mishawaka – and we have many of the national and regional stores/restaurants listed 🙁

  34. Sallys

I recently received a Saginaw, MI book, and There are 3 coupons for cancun restaurant in fenton for buy one get one free entree. I eat there twice a month with my coworkers, so for me this more than pays me back for the book, and there are many other coupons I will use. Most restaurant offers are buy one get one offers. I am considering a second one at the $10 price, one for my car one for hubby’s so we always have a book when we are out.

  35. Elaine

    Anyone tried the Houston book?

    • Linda

Elaine, I buy the Houston book every year. I think it’s definitely worth it.

  36. Amie

We live in northern Virginia and I would definitely say to get it for $10. I find we recoup our money with it.

  37. Cat

I’ll save more than $10 just at wetzels pretzels lol!

  38. Marcia

    Oh good deal

  39. Mirela

Got one for LA area! Thanks so much! I am excited to explore this book. From what I was able to see online there is $5 of $50 at Raplhs, that one is gonna get used for sure 😍 I am also gonna be using car rental in 2 weeks so that already pays. Thanks so much h2savers and comments from our h2s community!

  40. Joni

I got mine! I almost bought last week at $15. Glad I waited. One or two coupons pays for the book. Definitely worth it.

  41. sue

    when do these books expire?

  42. Mamommy

These books used to be a fundraiser for our local school so we would buy several of them but back then they also had the Kroger discount which paid for itself. We still usually buy a couple each year for Cincinnati because we love going out to eat and there are a lot of restaurant coupons. We also always use the Dick’s coupons as well so for $10.00 I think it’s a great deal! I bought two last night. Thanks for posting!

  43. mrsspinds

    got one, thanks!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

  44. Cruncher

H2S has the best info! I used to get the one for LA be advised, they do auto-renew and expect that you will buy the book at regular price the next year.

    • Cheri

I just purchased the LA edition for my daughter. They gave the option of auto renewal, but did not say it was mandatory.

  45. Teresa W

We are in Reno area, and in the past I have found these to not be worth the price for our family. However, considering the local museums, zoos, and the like that are in it this year, and it’s only $10, this could be a great deal! Would more than pay for itself with attraction fees, then anything we get for eating out would just be bonus savings. (Not a lot of restaurants would we go to though.)

  46. Tracy

So sad that I forgot to go through ebates, but still a great deal!

  47. jenny jen

I’ll be going to Disneyland-Anaheim in July with the whole gang 8 people. Does anybody know if local book for that area is worth buying it.
going on a budget. Thanks ladies

  48. Me

I agree that a lot of the stuff is not as enticing as it previously was but that is also because of online coupon availability. We bought one when we went on vacation in San Diego. They had some B1G1 coupons for some of the museums we went to. There were some coupons in the lobby of the hotel, and we also had a year long pass to a hometown museum that has the museum sharing program so we got discounts through that as well. Overall we probably saved about 30-40% on what we spent in activities….so for $10 if you are going to use it even twice, it will probably pay for itself…for a vacation city, or even at home.
Like other people said, look online to see what they are offering. It is not all-inclusive, but it gives you an idea of what you might use.

  49. lori Courtney

I dont see any places listed in my county in NJ so was thinking of buying in other state where my son goes to college. Can I use nationwide coupons in my state like ihop..shoprite shop from home?

    • Me

Some of them you can. Others specifically only are accepted at certain locations. So, for example, even if they say San Diego IHOP, if there are more than one, say 6 in the area, only 2 or 3 may accept that coupon and it will say on the coupon. Yet, last year I got the San Diego one and they had Macys, Mens Wearhouse, etc. and you could use it at ANY of them….so it just depends.
