Re the ASICS shoes: My interest is specifically the men’s ASICS Gel Venture 6 shoe. This is the most current model of these shoes. The choices in colors and sizes at Rakuten were quite limited by the time I found by chance really this ASICS offer at Hip2Save (one of my favorite sites ever!). What’s odd and lucky for me is that $40 and free shipping is the lowest price for these shoes anywhere. And I’ve looked around quite a bit (though I am not a price comparison expert). The next lowest price I could find was at Amazon naturally for $50, which I was just about to pay (if you want nicer/fancier colors you’ll pay about $7 – $20 more per pair depending on your choices). And I got to the above shoes initially by researching “THE best running shoes March 2018.” I was ready to pay serious money, like over $200, for a pair of great running shoes. And much to my surprise these shoes ranked very highly in review after review, even being the #1 choice in a number of reviews. Now everyone’s feet are different but I’m hoping that these shoes are indeed great for me. We’ll see.?! But even at $50 or $60 these shoes are priced phenomenally for an excellent pair of shoes. And apparently they are also very good and effective trail hiking and trail running shoes. Go figure!!
This was a great review… but I just had to hop over to Kohls.com really quick and see if they had the same shoe as 30% off begins today. And guess what…. they DO! So I applied my Kohl’s cash plus 30% and I’m getting these shoes for $33 and change! MUSIC to my ears for a mom of growing TEENAGE boys!
