My Ibotta says you can redeem up to 5 times per receipt!

Limit 2 in same transaction per coupon rules – that’s why Hip2Save states 2

      • Becky

That is what I said the first comment too. 5 times on ONE TRANSACTION. others may vary.

My Kroger last night had these marked for $1.79, so I was able to make a little money!

The times per receipt has always confused me. Ibotta states 5 times per receipt. Does that mean if you do it in multiple receipts, you can get 5 per receipt or do they really mean, you can redeem the deal 5 times total, regardless of how many receipts? Or, if you get 2 on one receipt and 3 on another, you can only redeem one of the receipts? Would someone be able to add clarity? Thank you.

So if an Ibotta offer says you can redeem 5 times, then you buy 5 items on ONE receipt and when you upload your receipt, you change the quantity to 5 and scan each barcode. If you buy 3 items, you change it to 3. Once you redeem an offer, it disappears, so if you buy 3 on one receipt, then 2 on another, you won’t get credit for the other 2 items unless the offer resets (which is usually within 24-48 hrs).
What you can’t do is buy 5 items, upload your receipt for 1 of the 5 and then keep reusing the same receipt for each of the other 4 items.
      Hope that helps!

Walmart is losing customers because they make it hard to use coupons. I can only use one like coupon per transaction so I would have to buy two on two different receipts. Just not worth it to me even without ibotta issues. I just shop at Kroger and Target now.

I can’t print 2 of the same coupon anymore on Coupons.com, ever since they make you register with your phone. How are you able to print 2 of them?
