Can someone explain the rave about Hunter boots?
They do what they’re supposed to do, which is keep your feet dry in the rain. They hold up well over the years. They’re sleek and stylish, and they come in a fun variety of colors. They’re not particularly comfortable – you wouldn’t want to wear them all day, although I have sent my kid to school in them before without complaint. They’re not that easy to get on/off, which could be a concern for people with dexterity issues. Those last two aren’t really issues with Hunter though because I’d say all rain boots are somewhat uncomfortable and tough to get on. You are paying a bit more to have a “cool” brand name, but they are still a very nice rainboot.
I don’t get the appeal. I live in a place that hardly ever rains and when I see people wearing them I’m just like, why? I don’t understand.
