I have purchased both these and the cheap colormate towels at Sears (with freecash). The Sears towels are much softer. I returned these to Kohl’s.

These towels are cheap— for a reason. I bought them on a previous deal, and I wouldn’t recommend them at all. The Big One used to be a decent brand, but they’ve cheapened the materials (and it shows). These towels weren’t absorbent at all, and they pill HORRIBLY. When I put them in the washer/dryer, the lint trap was filled to the brim. I wanted to return them at that point because they were so awful, but I didn’t feel right about returning towels that had been used and washed. So I kept them. The next 50 washes, they were still pilling. I bought new towels that actually absorb, and I use these ones to clean the garage. I’d save your money instead of purchasing these towels!

I bought my 4 oldest kids each a set in different colors. They are not thick luxurious towels but they do the job. Only flaw I see is the dye in the red runs. So this set has to be washed by itself even after the 3rd washing.
