Save on Dining Out with the Family! 🍔

If you’re looking to try a new restaurant in the area or are traveling for Spring Break and want to save on dining out with the family, this deal is for you!

Through tomorrow, April 5th, Restaurant.com is offering a whopping 60% off certificates with promo code SPRING at checkout. That means you’ll pay just 80¢ for a $5 certificate, $1.60 for a $10 certificate, $2.40 for a $15 certificate OR $4 for a $25 certificate!

Here’s what you’ll need to do…

🍔 Click here to find a restaurant in your neighborhood (search by zip code or city)

🍔 Browse through the list of participating restaurants in your area (you will be able to view the menu, location, and phone # for each restaurant)

🍔 Pick your restaurant and the appropriate certificate amount and then click add to cart. Be sure to read the restaurant’s special instructions before purchasing the certificate as some restaurants require that you make a minimum purchase, some may state valid for food or dinner only, and some may restrict the days that the certificate can be used (i.e. Monday-Friday only).

🍔 Enter the coupon code SPRING into the “Promo Code” box; your discount will then be applied to your purchase. Then redeem your voucher at your local restaurant and enjoy the savings!

AND, if a dining experience doesn’t live up to your expectation, you aren’t satisfied with your choice of restaurant, or you just change your mind, you can exchange your certificate at anytime. No questions asked! You can easily exchange your Restaurant Certificate for a different restaurant with an equivalent value. PLUS, Restaurant Gift Certificates will NEVER expire…how awesome is that!?

This seems like a great deal but I’ve always had trouble redeeming vouchers from this company..

    • Sami

Same here. And it the one time I was able to use a voucher it didn’t really save up that much money due to the minimum purchased required to be able to use the voucher.

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear that LC. If you do have trouble with a voucher you can exchange your certificate at anytime. Hope that helps!

Yep, I stopped using this site because I had the same problems. Too many places look confused when we mention this coupon.
Also some places automatically pile on an 18 percent tip which evens out whatever savings you found.
I ll give it a shot this time..

I have a credit with them from three years ago, only two restaurants in my area were listed, one closed the other won’t accept!

Really?? I have not used them lately…but when I did I never had a problem using them. I know you do have to spend an extra dollar amount but you are still getting around half-off. I would tip around that much anyway especially for a larger $$ I am planning on using mine on vacation this year..so I guess we shall see.

I was just at a restaurant last week that had a long explanation tacked on the door telling people they weren’t honoring these certificates and how to contact the company for a refund/exchange.

I just used one of their certificates earlier this month with no problem.

  7. Penny

Thank you for posting this deal. I have never experienced a problem using these certificates.

That’s great to hear Penny! You’re so welcome! These have worked well for me too!

I’ve held onto one for several years now because the minimum amount is like $40 and I usually dine alone so I never come close to that. I was unaware of the minimum when I purchased the voucher. Thankfully it was very inexpensive so not a real hardship if I never use it.

You can contact Restaurants.com and they will divide the certificate into smaller denominations which are easier to meet the limits that are required at most restaurants.

I’m not able to use the discount code as the site simply will not allow it. Is this a glitch or are they not allowing any more discount purchases?

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hmm, are you by chance using a mobile device? I am still finding that I can apply code SPRING. If not, maybe try a different browser. Hoping that might help!
