This adjustable dog harness helps keep your dog safely restrained during car travel. It is made from a strong nylon weave that can attach to any collar, and won’t break under strain or pulling from your dog. It comes with a seat belt buckle end that attaches the belt right to the car seat belt lock.
Thanks! Just what I needed to keep my spoiled beagle in the backseat
Too cute! You’re welcome! My mom has a similar car harness for her pups! They love to go for a ride!
This should ONLY be used with a harness — connecting it to a collar around the neck only can cause injury or death in an accident.
Thank you for pointing that out! The picture used is a terrible way to example this : (
I totally agree. You can’t be too careful driving, there are worst drivers out there that will make you push the break really quick and that will cause neck injury to you lovable puppy if you attached this to your baby’s collar.
Do you guys have any tips of driving with a small dog? I usually just let my doggie sit there in passenger seat but it make me nervous.
Get a harness and one of these gizmos that hooks from harness to seat belt clip. Works great
We have big dogs and need these to be a bit longer.
My dog will not sit still even when wearing a harness. Acts like a crazy dog trying to escape a straight jacket, easier to let her just stand on the backseat and look out the window.
My dog always wants to ride shotgun in the car but I worry about in the event of an accident that the passenger airbag might deploy and harm or kill her. This will help keep her safely in the back. Also, when we stop she always tries to jump out really quick when I open the door even before I can grab her leash.
There are only a few harnesses currently that passed crash tests for dogs. Many harnesses have had catastrophic failures during crash testing (sometimes “decapitating” the stuffed fake dog on the crash sled). It is especially hard to find safe car harnesses for big dogs!
