I love this container! I ended up super gluing the wheels in because they kept falling out whenever the container is tipped slightly but that is my only complaint!

I have this container and a smaller container that sits on top of the larger one. The large container holds the dog food and the smaller one holds the dogs chew bones and treats. It is the perfect combo for ourselves and the pooch!

I don’t have pets, but I buy these big containers because I get groceries in bulk. They are great for storing 50 pound bags of flour, sugar, rice, etc.!

Any one purchase this and have an issue with ants? Every container I buy for dog food the ants get into it- wonder if this one has a better seal to keep them out?
In the summer our ants are relentless. We have the tiny ants here so they can squeeze into almost anything. We pour the cat food into big (gallon or 2 gallon) ziploc bags and then store the bags inside the container. A few extra steps, but it works well.

I bought a similar model from Walmart.com for our cat food — I got a 10-lb container because we have a small kitchen — and we just love it!
Make sure you wash them and air them out for a couple of days before use. I bought three of them last time and they had a super strong plastic odor.
Mix some food grade diatomaceous earth in the food to keep the ants out. Also a great natural de-wormer for your dog. Great for their joints as well. Google it. 🙂
