I wonder if I bought one of those balloons now, if it would deflate by Mother’s day?

    • Heather

Probably not, we bought a Valentine one last year and it is still full

    • Amanda

I bought one at Valentine’s Day and it’s still going strong even with 3 kiddos

    • websaver

Those little balloons last a LONG time! I still have one that came in a flower arrangement when my daughter was born. She is now 15 years old! The balloon still looks new!

      • Nicole

        Holy cow!!! lol

      • Mandi

OMG!!! That is so funny!!! FIFTEEN YEARS!

    • Susan

We have one from November 2017 stuck in a plant and it looks the same as when we bought it.

    • *Angela-Miles*

Mine is still inflated from 2014

    • jen reeves

You can still re-inflate them with a straw! πŸ˜‰

  2. Krys

I’m bummed. My dollar tree never has items like you post and it’s fairly large. Would loved to buy finds like this.

    • Rebecca

I usually find items a couple of months after they are featured by popular bloggers/YouTubers. Maybe it’s location, many of them are up North, I am not.

    • retireewannabe

I am in the North and I didn’t find this stuff at my store either.

  3. jessie o

I wish people would be mindful of the huge waste and pollution caused my balloons

  4. Nichole

No I had one for about 4 years now

  5. Kcmiami

Do the block plates work with legos?

    • Rockstar

Would love to know this too! I looked at some base plates for my kids and wow, are they expensive.

    • GotItTogetherish

Was wondering the same and if they were any good.

    • MrsK

I do not know if the plates work with Legos, but I would suggest taking a few Legos with you when you go to Dollar Tree, buying ONE and then opening it to try it out. If they fit, Great, you can buy more, but if not, … well, at least you just bought one. πŸ™‚

    • MrsC

Yes they work with Legos! Its a great deal! πŸ™‚

    • Steph

I will also agree – they DO work well with legos! I bought one and was skeptical, but I gave it to the kids and they said yes! I went back and bought two in each color. I have not tried the actual bricks though – we have plenty of those. It’s a GREAT deal.

  6. Sandy

No idea they had base plates thanks!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You’re so welcome Sandy! Hoping you spot them in your store!

  7. April J

My DT never ever has good items like these! Darn!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh bummer! Hoping you can find some of these items in your store soon!

  8. GotItTogetherish

Those balloons last forever. I had one for years that never deflated, and another I just poked a little hole in, added a little air and taped it closed.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I agree! They do last a long time! My son has had one in his room for weeks now since his Birthday!

  9. Ashley

That cute little hello sign would be perfect on my next diy DT wreath for my front door! Thanks πŸŽ‰

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      How pretty! You’re welcome Ashley!

  10. Imran
