   It is worthless to me since the cartridge slot is not operational. I wouldn’t be able play any of the games I own. I already have the cartridges for three of the four preloaded games that I care about.

   In 2015 I bought a used Super Nintendo from a local game store for about $40 – $50. It doesn’t have any preloaded games, but I can play any game that I can get my hands on. I am not limited to the preloaded games this new version comes with.

  But you can load all SNES games ever created. Look it up. I had someone do it for me.

  I actually left my super Nintendo with a friend when I left the peace corps (I didn’t initially take it, but I brought it back with me after a trip home for a wedding). I miss that thing. I would have to try over and over for it to load! Loved Mario cart, home alone and American gladiators!

   My husband loves his! I was able to get one last time a deal was posted. The only downside to this is that the controller cords are short. We picked up some extensions on Amazon and it’s perfect now. LOL
